“Rise Of Velshara” has now been released on Ero-Mania! ^_^
About the game:
This is a collab project between “Cupcake Valkyrie” (doing the story, and programming in “RPG Maker MV”) and me (doing the artwork).
Story:
Long ago, the evil Demon Queen Velshara plagued the land by imparting humankind with insatiable lust, using humans as her playthings. Using a powerful ritual, they eventually managed to banish her back to the demon realm, and thus, she cursed humanity, preventing any male children from ever being born. In order to save humanity from slowly dying out, Lumira, The Goddess Of Light, granted a blessing: the futanari, women born with the genitals of men and thus being able to impregnate normal women. To help contain the Demon Queen, the Grand Cauldron was carved from Earth, a huge valley surrounding Velshara’s castle. However, the Demon Queen will return on the 18th birthday of the futanari fated to prevent her return to the mortal realm. This futanari’s name is Layla Damoire…and in order to stop Velshara, she needs to battle horny monstergirls and humans under Velshara’s power, trying her best not to succumb to her lust, or else they will turn her into one of their own…
The game contains animated sex scenes in the battles, and unique Game Over drawings for each character ^_^

Is the hidden ring in the game or is that a teaser?
If you’re referring to the Silver Star Amulet, then yes, it is in the game. It requires a bit of exploring, though ^_^
Is the visible starway on the left of the final castle an indication that some hidden/secret place is to be found?
Sorry about that! It’s actually nothing. It’s one of those artifacts that occasionally gets forgotten and left behind in a game. There was originally an extra dungeon, but time constraints forced us to cut it at the last minute, but I forgot to remove the staircase. It literally leads to nowhere in game, but canonically it leads to the basement of the castle.
This is a wonderful game. You`ve done a great job. Will there be a second part? I think that the story leaves opportunities for a second part. That would be amazing:-)
We actually do have plans for another game, but it’s a bit early to disclose any information about it yet ^_^
I’m having an issue where sometimes when I try to view animations in the gallery, I get the following error message:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘width’ of null
Does it happen in this demo, or in the full version?

Ok, thanks for letting me know. I guess we need to look a bit more into this, I’ll contact the programmer and let him know the issue is still there.
Just want to add that the error during animations is also happening to me.
I had the same issue above said he had.
It tends to have the message:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘width’ of null
It pops up on every couple times an animation starts up.
As well as one that said it had something to do with Persistent saves?
I don’t think I will be able to pay for next months sub.
So I hope this is fixed soon.
I’ve talked to the programmer about this, and it seems to be somehow related to how the animations are added into the game. It’s a frustrating issue, since it seems to only happen on random (and several people have reported that they never got the error at all). We’re currently looking into this to try and find a way to solve the problem.
So was Rise of Velshara are fixed from it’s habbit of crashing? I’ve been waiting to re-sub the site for until an update was talked about, but have yet to see anything.
The programmer is currently looking into the issue. A lot of people have reported that they never experienced the issue at all, so it’s a bit tricky to find out exactly what is causing it…if you have been a member on Ero-Mania after the game’s release, however, I can send you a download when the issue has been fixed (just contact me by e-mail, using the same e-mail you used when signing up on Ero-Mania ^_^).

IS this one of those “sex only if you lose” games? Just asking because I prefer to not have to lose to see scenes. Others don’t mind it – to each their own I say but for me the point of a game is generally to win. It’s why I liked Raidy so much. Sex either way, it just changed who was in charge.

But answering your question, it’s a little bit of both. You get game over cg’s, but sex will also be achieved during battles even if you don’t lose (during battles there are animated sex attack scenes from the enemy).
Are there any plans to do a yuri centric game with a corruption theme? Would much have preferred Rise of Velshara if it was a pure female PC and she had sexbattles with monstergirls in the hopes of purifying them if she beat them (her becoming corrupted into the monster girl species her opponent is if she lost)
Would love to see a game like that one day!
We have discussed to maybe let the player choose between a female or a futa character in the next game ^_^

Just joined your Ero-Mania website to play the full game, and it’s great. Loved many of the other games too, I think the membership really gave me a lot for the money I paid. Normally DLsite games are like $20 or so for just 1 game with a decent length and amount of animated content, while a 1-month membership plan to your site gives access to tons of content for just $25. Great value there, so keep up the great work, I’m looking forward to your new publications!

Is it possible to convert the format of this game to .exe? My desktop is unable to play .rar games and the apps its suggesting aren’t of any help.
.rar archives can be extracted just like a zip archive. Winrar and 7-Zip can be used, for example ^_^
