Robophilia, also mostly called a "Robot fetish", but sometimes called "Technosexuality". A robophile is a person that gets sexually attracted to humanoid or non-humanoid robots, and/or people dressing up and acting like a robot, and sometimes they get attracted to the thought of being transformed into a robot, or someone else being transformed. In many ways, robophilia have similarities to agalmatophilia (doll fetish).

There are several movies, comics and tv-series that deals with the subject of humans having sexual or romantic affairs with robots. One example is the famous anime series "Chobits", that deals with a young man and his life with a "persocom", a humanoid kind of robot. In this series, humans can have romantic affairs with their persocoms (note this series is not hentai, though) and even sexual affairs.

There are also several other movies and series where robots are having sexual affairs with humans, for example "A.I. - Artificial Intelligence" by Steven Spielberg, where one of the male robots is a prostitute.

There once used to be a popular newsgroup, called "ASFR" (Alt.Sex.Fetish.Robots). Unfortunately it is now dead.

For many robophiles the sexual attraction goes towards having their own sex slave, and something that is "built" for their pleasure and needs. Others have an attraction towards the though of being transformed into a robot - often to be a sex slave - while others likes the idea of someone else being transformed into a robot.

Some robophiles prefer a robot that is as humanlike as possible, but there are some who prefer the more "mechanic" kind of robot, where the human likeness isn't too big.
